Local 10 announces winner of 4th Annual Earth Day Art Contest

DAVIE, Fla. – A Broward County school is the winner of the 4th Annual Local 10 Earth Day Art Contest.
St. Bonaventure Catholic School in Davie won out of ten finalists with the original work of art, “Save A Wave.” 
The framed piece features recycled water bottles that were melted and colored to depict a wave in the ocean.
Proud of its elegance and message of conservation, St. Bonaventure displayed the artwork in the main entrance of the school.
Art teacher Megan Anderson said one student inspired the piece and the student body, from Pre-K to 8th grade, brought it to life. ....
