Feeling hope and remaining cautious as vaccine arrives in Oregon

The first COVID-19 vaccinations are due to arrive locally beginning next week and Clatsop County is reaching out to keep citizens informed about the process that will be used over the months to come.
Columbia Memorial Hospital in Astoria learned that it will receive 300 doses of the Moderna vaccine on or around Dec. 24. The vaccine will be provided to CMH staff in those areas at the highest risk of exposure to the COVID-19 virus.
The hospital also plans to reserve a portion of the first vaccine shipment for local first-responders. ....
