ISLAMABAD: Amid voices of no cooperation from the opposition, the National Assembly (NA) witnessed premature end of proceedings due to lack of quorum on Monday evening. The PML-N parliamentarian Imran Ahmad Shah pointed out lack of quorum after break for Maghrib prayers. The Speaker suspended proceedings till completion of the quorum. However, the government’s efforts fell short of gathering required number of parliamentarians in the National Assembly hall when the proceedings resumed after an hour. The move to disrupt proceedings was initiated a few minutes after the PML-N parliamentary party decided no cooperation with the government in the Parliament. ....

The move to disrupt proceedings was initiated a few minutes after the PML-N parliamentary party decided no cooperation with the government in the Parliament. Majority of PML-N members, who attended the parliamentary party meeting at the committee room, did not turn up at proceedings of the House. ....

DALZELL, S.C. (WIS) - A South Carolina woman has been arrested and charged with homicide by child abuse after police say her premature baby died because of her drug use.
The woman, 23-year-old Tricia Yazici, of Dalzell, was taken into custody Jan. 10 on a warrant from December.
Her newborn, who was born at 25 weeks, tested positive for methamphetamine in October 2020, officials with the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office said. ....

HENDERSON, Ky. (WFIE) - A baby girl is in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Deaconess Henderson Hospital after being born two-and-a-half months early.
Her parents from Henderson County had a hard time finding clothes to fit the 30-week-old baby and found some in an unexpected place - the toy section.
Baby Willow was born by emergency Cesarean section on December 15 when doctors said her mom’s blood pressure got dangerously high. ....
