Mrs. Jean Hafemeister Hill, age 74, died Friday, December 11, 2020 at her home in Chapel Hill.Â
Mrs. Hill was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was a daughter of the late Edmund Adolph and Lucille Krause Hafemeister. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Jim Hafemeister.

Mrs. Hill retired after 35 years of service with the Marshall County Board of Education having taught special education at Forrest High School in Chapel Hill. Following her retirement, she obtained her real estate license and began working with David Jent Realty in Lewisburg and Chapel Hill as a real estate agent. She was a member of the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church and a member of both the Moose and Elks Lodges in Lewisburg, Tennessee.
Seán was 87, when he passed away on Monday, October 26.
A forestry manager by profession, Seán was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and a proud Tipperary man.
Born John Joseph Kearney on June 13, 1933, he was a son of John and Hannah Kearney, and was from near the historic landmark Mitchelstown Caves, near the villages of Burncourt and Ballyporeen.
A keen Gaeilgeoir and patriot, he changed his name to Seán Ua Cearnaigh. Despite being the eldest and only son of a farmer, farming took second place to his passion for reading and learning, a fact his father accepted with time.
