Library and Archives Canada: two projects for preservation of documentary heritage funded in Atlantic

The DHCP was created in 2015 to provide financial assistance for activities that enhance the visibility of, and access to, materials held by Canada s local documentary heritage institutions. The program also aims to increase the capacity of local institutions to sustainably preserve, promote and showcase the country s documentary heritage. At the end of the selection process, the DHCP will provide contributions for eligible applicants across Canada for a variety of projects that will allow citizens to access and engage with their nation s history like never before.
Incorporated and unincorporated non-profit organizations such as archives, privately funded libraries, historical societies, genealogical organizations and societies, professional library and archival associations, and museums with an archival component are eligible to apply for funding under the DHCP. ....

A New Zealand Prayer Book He Karakia Mihinare o Aotearoa 2020 [NZPB2020] for what had changed since previous books with the same name, I looked at page 143,
Prayers on Various Subjects. This is a most useful four-page index to prayers in the Prayer Book organised alphabetically under different topics.
In this new book, this index has a new introduction. The page numbers of this index, we are told, refer not to this current 2020 book but to previous books with the same name. In other words, people who have bought this book because they don’t own the previous book cannot use these pages (unless they refer to the web version’s “historical content section” – in which case they needn’t be using this printed book). ....

For the previous consideration in this series, the online NZ Prayer Book is different to the physical ANZPB/HKMA2020 that we are looking at. For this current post, however, it appears that the online Calendar is identical to the physical 2020 book. This helps anyone to follow this post even if you do not have the physical book.
