WASHINGTON: Facebook-owned Instagram unveiled technology on Tuesday aimed at preventing underage children from creating accounts and blocking adults from contacting young users they don’t know.
It was the latest move responding to concerns about inappropriate contact between adults and children on the platform, which like most services sets an age minimum of 13. Instagram will begin using AI to determine a user’s age at signup in an effort to find underage users. While many people are honest about their age, we know that young people can lie about their date of birth . ....

The bill also protects dairies and others in ag from lawsuits seeking three years back overtime pay, following November’s State Supreme Court Ruling that removed ag’s overtime exemption.

As the United States makes progress against COVID-19, businesses and workplaces are reopening to greater capacities for workers and customers. Naturally, continuing to maintain worker safety is paramount in all industries, not just those deemed high risk. OSHA recently updated their COVID-19-specific guidance at the end of January 2021 and continues to recommend employers provide face coverings for all workers to wear while on duty. In addition, certain workers may also need to wear face shields for additional protection of their respirators or other face coverings to prevent them from getting wet or soiled.
