WACO, TX â The Waco Police Department says three persons of interest have been identified following a robbery on Lake Air Drive early Monday morning.
Around 7 a.m. officers were called out for a robbery at 701 Lake Air Dr.
The department s SWAT team was called out to the scene along with K9 units. The team located three individuals inside of an apartment close to the area.
The three were detained and transported for further questioning. All three have been released, but are listed as persons of interest for the Lake Air Drive robbery and previous robberies. ....

Texas homeowners and renters in the 77 counties designated for individual assistance who sustained damage may now apply for disaster assistance with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
Disaster assistance may include financial assistance for temporary lodging and home repairs, low-interest loans to cover uninsured property losses and other programs to help individuals and business owners recover from the effects of the disaster.
According to FEMA, anyone with insurance and who applies for disaster assistance must also file a claim as soon as possible. ....

President Joe Biden on Saturday approved a major disaster declaration in Texas, a step that allows people and businesses affected by the devastating winter storm to seek federal assistance.
Gov. Greg Abbott requested on Thursday the major disaster declaration for all counties in Texas, according to a statement from his office. The Biden administration approved individual assistance in 77 counties and public assistance for emergency protective measures in all 254 counties. ....

WACO, TX â UPDATE:
McLennan County Judge Scott Felton said the February 19, 2021, Supplemental Order Under Disaster Declaration is hereby lifted at 6:00 p.m. today, February 21, 2021 and is of no further effect after such time.
ORIGINAL STORY:
McLennan County Judge Scott Felton and the City of Waco have issued orders to conserve water which includes ceasing operation for car wash and laundry establishments until noon Monday if they are water customers of the City of Waco.
The supplemental order says continued high water usage makes normalizing the systems very difficult, and creates the potential for new emergencies. ....
