N.C. man faces manslaughter charges in shooting death of family member

ROBESON COUNTY, N.C. (WMBF) – An arrest has been made in a case where authorities said a family dispute turned deadly.
The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Nicoya Dial on Tuesday afternoon and charged him with voluntary manslaughter in Neil Locklear’s shooting death.
Deputies were called to a shooting early Monday morning on Lewis McNeill Road in Red Springs.
Locklear was found with injuries and was taken to the hospital where he died as soon as he arrived to McLeod Medical Center in Florence, according to investigators. ....

Red Springs NC man charged in fatal McNeill Road shooting of relative

LUMBERTON A Red Springs man was arrested Tuesday afternoon on a charge of voluntary manslaughter in a fatal shooting early Monday.
Nicoya Dial, 28, is charged in the death of Neil Ray Locklear, 32, according to a news release from the Robeson County Sheriff s Office.
Deputies were called to 139 Lewis McNeill Road in Red Springs shortly after 1 a.m. Monday where Locklear was found with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at McLeod Medical Center in Florence S.C., the release said.
Locklear was shot during a dispute with Dial, officials said. The two men are related, according to the release. ....

ROBESON COUNTY, N.C. (WMBF) â The Robeson County Sheriffâs Office said a family dispute has turned into a homicide investigation.
Deputies were called on Monday to a shooting along Lewis McNeill Road in Red Springs.
They said they found 32-year-old Neil Locklear with injuries and took him to McLeod Medical Center in Florence where he later died.
Investigators said the shooting was a result of an altercation with a family member.
The investigation into the case is ongoing and no arrests have been made. ....
