Two injured in Tuesday crash | News, Sports, Jobs - Marshall Independent

HANLEY FALLS Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 23 Tuesday evening, the Minnesota State Patrol said.
A Slayton man and a Raymond man were taken to area hospitals with non life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol said.
The crash was reported at 6:04 p.m. at Minnesota Highway 23 and 510th Street in Hanley Falls. A 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Leighton Riley Helmuth, 18, of Raymond, was northbound on 510th Street, and a 2002 Chevy Silverado driven by William Joseph Robinson, 62, of Slayton, was southbound on Highway 23 when the vehicles collided.
Robinson was taken to Avera Marshall Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries, and Helmuth was taken to Avera Granite Falls with non life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol said. ....

GRANITE FALLS Â A Willmar woman is in stable condition and a Morton man is in custody after a shooting Monday night, the Upper Sioux Police Department said.
Around 11:15 p.m., law enforcement and security staff at Prairie’s Edge Casino Resort were alerted to a couple who left the casino in a vehicle after having a possible domestic dispute in the parking lot. Around 11:30, there was an additional report of a 31-year-old woman from Willmar arriving at the Avera Granite Falls emergency room with a gunshot wound to her leg, Upper Sioux Police said.
The woman told law enforcement that she and her boyfriend, a 41-year-old man from Morton, were the ones involved in the domestic dispute at the casino, Upper Sioux Police said. ....
