Two sports venue-adjacent restaurants have closed in downtown Minneapolis. Target Center’s Cargo Food Authority, along with Bus Stop Burgers & Brewhouse located in the Wells Fargo complex have shuttered according to the Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal. The operator of both locations, MRI Food Hall Inc., has filed for bankruptcy. Minneapolis-based Shamrock Group is one of the creditors named in the filings. Cargo Food Authorities opened in late 2018, featuring a variety of international street food in a former shipping yard with pallet seating, garage doors and graffiti by local artists. Bus Stop Burgers & Brewhouse was the first Minnesota establishment to utilize the technological advancements of the SmartBrew System and served a fairly predictable menu of burgers and apps perfect for its proximity to the Vikings stadium. ....

The now-vacant property would still house guests – but the YWCA plans for them to be women recovering from substance abuse and their children. That s what proponents of the plan told the Fort Wayne Board of Zoning Appeals on Wednesday, before the board unanimously approved a special use for the 8.2-acre property. The YWCA asked that the Fort Wayne-based nonprofit serving women and girls be allowed to reuse the hotel property to consolidate its programs and administrative offices in one location. ....
