The coronavirus pandemic has been hard on Bernadette Yee, who lives at Laguna Honda, San Francisco’s largest skilled nursing facility.

A Marin high school coach and former San Francisco police officer faces multiple felony charges after allegedly grabbing an 11-year-old boy by the neck, forcing him into his car and threatening to put a bullet in his head after a game of doorbell ditch gone wrong in a San Rafael neighborhood.
Dean Taylor, 63, was charged Tuesday with kidnapping, criminal threats, false imprisonment, battery and child endangerment by the Marin County District Attorney’s Office, according to the Marin Independent Journal. He was arraigned in Marin County Superior Court on Thursday and pled not guilty. ....

A woman named Miranda Martin filed for a loan with the Paycheck Protection Program. It was for her business, the Common Nucleus of Cancer for which she was bankrolled $32,700.
The only catch: Miranda Martin allegedly didn t run the LLC. She s a retired attorney. And the Miranda Martin who had filed for this application had already been arrested months earlier for impersonation. ....
