Chợ Phong Lưu Khâu Vai hay còn gọi Chợ tình Khâu Vai đã có lịch sử từ gần 100 năm nay. Theo một số tài liệu, chợ đã có từ những năm 1919. Tên gọi Khau Vai theo tiếng Tày - Nùng có nghĩa là đèo gai , tuy nhiên nhiều văn liệu đã ghi thành Khâu Vai . Chợ nằm ở xã Khau Vai, huyện Mèo Vạc, Hà Giang và chỉ họp mỗi năm một lần vào ngày 27/3 âm lịch. Hiện nay, ngay cả những người già nhất trong vùng cũng chẳng biết chợ bắt đầu từ khi nào, chỉ biết từ khi còn “đỏ hỏn” chợ đã có rồi. ....
