MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - The Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office shared highlights of a presentation for the family of Carlos Taylor.
Taylor was injured in a 2017 crash while on duty as a Montgomery police officer. The wreck left him with a traumatic brain injury and unable to walk or communicate verbally.

The Alabama Educators Rank-and-File Safety Committee is hosting a special meeting at 2 p.m. CST this Saturday, February 27, which is open to all educators, parents, students and other workers. MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - People weren’t going out to the ball game at Paterson Field Friday evening. Instead they came for the music, food and the movies, transforming the parking lot into the Black movie cinema to celebrate Black History Month.
A double feature of the movies “42″ and “Akeelah and the Bee” were shown Friday night.
The event was also created for families to spend time together away from their homes safely in the city. ....
