The project, KPMG Origins - Trusted Beef Traceability, is a collaboration between Argyle Foods Group, Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) and KPMG, is a blockchain based traceability platform which incorporates a code on the beef product. The product is exported to markets across South East Asia, with a focus on China and aims to deliver $115m in additional sales by 2025. The code, which can be scanned on a mobile phone, leads consumers to a platform which includes information from across the beef supply chain. ....

They will be guests at the popular Sportsmanâs Lunch to be held at The Stadium at the Rockhampton Showgrounds from noon. They will then lace up the boots for a game against the Beef Barbarians, a team of beef producers and industry identities, at the Rocky Sports Club at 6.30pm. Hailing from the strong cattle country of Mitchell, Will and Jack Jones run the agricultural business Nutri-Lick, which provides nutritional supplements to livestock around Australia. Many Queensland farmers feed lick supplements to their cattle and it is often a tedious process to move it around on a truck. So the Jones brothers created the Ute Chute, for transporting and dispensing lick from the back of a smaller vehicle. Farmers simply load up the lick while the chute’s on the ground, then use a tractor to lift it onto the ute. ....
