Love Unmasked: Poets Corner hosts Valentine's Day reading

Almost 100 writers responded to the call for submissions of short prose and poetry for the Valentine’s Day reading, “Love Unmasked,” according to The Poets Corner, in a news release. The event will take place over Zoom on Sunday afternoon, Feb. 14, from 4 - 5:30 p.m. EST.
A total of 17 readers were selected to read featuring a variety of voices, ideas and approaches. 
“Enjoy the humor, authenticity, passion and pathos by registering at www.thepoetscorner.org/events,”said Poets.
The event will have three sections featuring 5-6 readers in each chapter:

It was a year of pandemic and protests, of wildfires and elections, and lots of other news that never stopped in 2020.
But I want to highlight one series of articles because I think the work illustrates the sort of accountability journalism you support when you subscribe to The Oregonian or OregonLive.
Reporter Maxine Bernstein’s February 2020 examination of what happened to Michael Fesser at the hands of law enforcement was top-notch local reporting. Given the news this year, it would be easy for the Fesser story to fade into the background. ....
