Delays expected on Hwy 1 after serious crash


A crash on Highway 1, described by RCMP as “serious”, had traffic backed up Wednesday afternoon.
The crash happened about two kilometres east of Mortlach, according to RCMP.
Westbound traffic was blocked for a while in the afternoon, with one caller in to 980 CJME saying vehicles were backed up for at least two kilometres at one point.
RCMP didn’t say if anyone was hurt or how long they thought the blockage might last, just that drivers should expect delays or detours.

Highway #1 closed for serious accident near Mortlach

Moose Jaw RCMP are currently investigating a serious motor vehicle collision on Highway #1, approximately 2 km east of Mortlach, SK.
Highway #1 westbound is currently blocked and motorists can expect delays and/or detours.
