KARACHI: The Steel Town police on Saturday claimed to have arrested two suspects who belonged to the Balochistan police over allegation of stealing vehicles from the metropolis and recovered a stolen motorcycle from their possession.
The held suspects identified as Asif and Abdul Qadir were policemen posted in Lasbela, Balochistan, said Malir SSP Irfan Bahadur.
During the initial probe, the suspects revealed that they stole motorbikes and cars in Karachi and sold them in the Panjgur area of Balochistan. ....

A man allegedly strangled his wife to death over a domestic dispute in Dijkot on Saturday. Reportedly, the , Abdul Sattar, a resident of Chak No 256 RB, was married to 22-yearold Musarat Bibi, a resident of the village, four years ago.
The couple has three children and they used to engage in frequent fights over petty issues. Police said after their recent quarrel, Abdul Sattar strangled his wife Musarat Bibi to death while she was sleeping and then he escaped the crime scene. Upon information, police reached the spot and shifted the body to a hospital for autopsy. The body was handed over to the family members after completion of the legal formalities. ....

Covid vaccinations will be offered in a Blackburn mosque for the first time.
A pop-up vaccination clinic will take place on Saturday 10 April between 10am-1pm at the Masjid E Saliheen on Didsbury Street, Blackburn.
Members of the mosque are working in partnership with NHS Blackburn with Darwen Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), Blackburn with Darwen Council and Lancashire Council of Mosques (LCM) to offer coronavirus vaccinations to eligible local people. These include people over the age of 50, or in an “at-risk” clinically vulnerable group over 16, health and social care workers and carers who have not already had their first jab. ....
