Lee Power 'apparently' preparing to sell Swindon Town, court told

During the court cases, Mr Power claimed that he would be forced to put the club into administration if he was unable to sell to American-registered firm Able Company Swindon LLC.
There remains confusion over the club’s ownership, with claims that up to 50 per cent of Mr Power’s share in the club is held in trust for former Premier League ace Gareth Barry’s agent Michael Standing.
An interim injunction, issued in 2019, prevents Mr Power from selling the club or shares in holding companies Swinton and Seebeck without Mr Standing’s permission.
A full injunction hearing is expected to take place at the end of 2021 or early 2022. The trial hearing is likely to last up to five days. ....

SWINDON Town Supporters Trust and Swindon Town Official Supporters Club have written a joint letter to the FA and EFL asking the governing bodies to avoid punishing the football club should any of the FA’s charges regarding working with intermediaries be proven.
On April 7, 2021, Swindon Town Football Club, owner Lee Power, First Touch Pro Management, and it’s director, Michael Standing were all
accused of breaching regulations on working with intermediaries to fund Swindon, sending Town fans into a spate of worry regarding the fate of their club.
Therefore, just days after the charges were brought about, TrustSTFC and the OSC collaborated on a letter that pleaded with the FA not to punish those who were merely caught up in the crossfire. ....

SWINDON Town, the club s owner and chairman, Lee Power, First Touch Pro Management, and its Company Director, Michael Standing have today all been charged by the Football Association over breaches of regulations on working with intermediaries.
A statement released on Wednesday evening by an FA spokesperson reads: “It is alleged that Swindon Town FC, Lee Power, First Touch Pro Management and Michael Standing breached Intermediary Regulations in relation to the ownership and/or funding of Swindon Town FC.
“Swindon Town FC, Lee Power, First Touch Pro Management and Michael Standing have until April 22, 2021 to provide responses to their respective charges.” ....
