“两当兰州兵变”威震甘陕
　　在全国上下欢庆建党100周年之际，结合正在全党开展的党史学习教育，6月13日一大早，我们从兰州驱车前往600多公里外的甘肃省陇南市两当县，探寻红色足迹，瞻仰老一辈无产阶级革命家习仲勋同志当年领导“两当兵变”的遗迹。
　　新近落成的两当兵变纪念馆高大庄重，宽敞的前厅三面都是反映兵变情景的大型浮雕，两旁摆放着中共中央宣传部、共青团中央、兰州战区等敬献的花篮，共设三个展厅，通过大量的图片、实物、雕塑和影像视频，真实地再现了1932年4月，由习仲勋等领导发生在两当，震撼了整个甘陕的兵变大事件。
　　1913年出生的习仲勋同志，从小就接受革命思想，树立了远大的革命理想；1928年春因参加爱国学生运动，遭国民党当局关押，在狱中他坚贞不屈，被转为中国共产党党员。1930年初，年仅16岁的他，被中共陕西省委派到长武县杨虎城部的警备骑兵第三旅三团二营，与该营的共产党员接头从事兵运工作。从此，就开始了他在陕甘地区革命斗争的生涯。
　　打入该营后，习仲勋同志显露出了高超的领导才能和斗争艺术，他立即和共产党员李秉荣、李特生三个人成立了党小组，并在党小组的领导下开展兵运工作。他们确立了“在发动士兵进行日常斗争、促进士兵革命化的基础上，发展组织，团结士兵，积蓄力量，等待时机”的工作方针，提出“反对军阀战争、拥护红军”的口号，成立了“红军之友”社；还在该营积极发展党员，扩建组织，随后又成立营党委，大家推选他担任营党委书记。
　　1932年初，19岁的习仲勋得知二营要开往甘肃徽县与一营换防，便立即召开营党委会议，认为这是一个绝佳的好机会，决定趁换防之机举行兵变；他们派人前往西安，向陕西省委汇报。省委同意了兵变计划，并派省军委秘书刘林圃为特派员协助兵变。4月2日，习仲勋等当机立断利用部队开拔之机，枪毙了三个反动连长（营长逃脱），毅然率领全营300多人在两当举行起义，并将起义部队拉出去与刘志丹领导的陕北红军会合，被改编为中国工农红军陕甘游击队第五支队，习仲勋为政委。随后又与刘志丹等同志创建南梁、照金等陕甘边区革命根据地，同国民党反动派进行了艰苦卓绝的斗争。
　　1934年11月，21岁的习仲勋当选为陕甘边区苏维埃政府主席，成为名符其实的“娃娃主席”；1935年9月，他和刘志丹等一大批领导干部在错误肃反中被王明路线的执行者关押；党中央和毛主席到达陕北后，他们才得以释放平反；而后他出色地组织领导边区军民同国民党顽固派进行军事、政治和经济斗争，正确贯彻执行党的抗日民族统一战线政策，赢得了党和人民群众的信赖和拥戴；1943年1月，毛泽东同志亲笔为他书写“党的利益在第一位”题词予以表彰，这不能不使人敬佩。
　　“两当兵变”成功地将国民党军队中三个连300多名士兵改编成革命武装，虽然人数不是很多，但意义非常重大，它震惊了陕甘国民党当局，打乱了国民党军队的部署，有力地支援了陕北的革命斗争。它是第二次国内革命战争时期，中国共产党在西北地区领导的一次武装兵变，也是在甘肃发动较早的一次武装起义，从而挽救了这块在全国“硕果仅存”的革命根据地，使之成为党中央和中央红军长征的落脚点和抗日战争的出发点。“两当兵变”也唤醒了陇原人民，鼓舞了革命斗志，播下了红色的火种，使贫苦人民认识到了翻身求解放的道路，懂得了为什么要革命和怎样革命，同时也锻炼和培养出了一大批革命骨干。
　　习仲勋等老一辈无产阶级革命家坚定的理想信念，顽强斗争不怕牺牲的精神，始终把党的利益放在第一位，为中国人民的解放事业所建立卓越的历史功勋深深地感动着我；我在想，今天我们只有把先辈们开创的无产阶级革命事业传承好、发扬好，不忘初心，牢记使命，永远听党话、跟党走，才是对他们最好的缅怀。为了表达对革命先烈的崇敬之情，我特意买了一面小党旗，在雕像前拍照留念，并在电子留言屏上书写了“先烈精神永存”以作纪念。
