After a year and a half of disruptions to offshore racing due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Royal Ocean Racing Club is delighted to confirm an overnight race for Two-Handed teams starting on May 1st.
The combined entry list for May 1st has a fleet of 48 yachts, including all the top Two-Handed boats from the inshore RORC Spring Series. The three-race series came to a dramatic conclusion on April 17th. James Harayda racing Sun Fast 3300 Gentoo with Dee Caffari, was just one second ahead of Kelvin Rawlings, racing Sun Fast 3300 Aries with Stuart Childerley. The result in the last race gave Gentoo victory in the series by a single point from Aries. Rob Craigie s Sun Fast 3600 Bellino racing with Deb Fish was third. ....

(Ithaca, NY) –WHCU Radio in Ithaca, NY will start airing the Dennis Prager Show weekdays Noon- 3pm starting today.
“We polled our listeners on a Rush Limbaugh replacement show over the past month, and Prager was their top choice.  While they know that Rush’s show was great, they also understand that radio is best as a live, topical medium and that running repeats of Rush segments was not what they ultimately wanted to listen to” said Joe Salzone, News Director.

On March 5, South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster announced his latest executive order, which loosens requirements for wearing face masks inside state buildings and facilities or when not eating or dinking inside restaurants. This followed his Feb. 26 order that said limits on mass gatherings would be lifted, and bars and restaurants would be allowed to resume selling alcohol after 11 p.m.
The latest executive order still encourages counties and municipalities to implement appropriate ordinances, orders or other measures requiring individuals to wear face coverings in public settings.
