Eurovision winners Måneskin and UK entry James Newman heading for Top 40

Eurovision Song Contest winners Måneskin and the United Kingdom's entrant James Newman are on course for places in this Friday's Official Singles Chart Top 40.
As of today's sales flash (May 25), Embers by UK representative James Newman is currently at Number 36 and on track to earn the highest-charting 2021 Eurovision song on the Official Chart. The track is also the third most downloaded song so far this week.
A Top 40 single would be the latest showing of support for James, who has said he will "focus on the positives" after coming last in the competition last Saturday (May 22) with zero points.

MIT Professor Builds Crib In His Office To Help Researcher And New Mom | 101-3 KISS-FM

He runs a research lab, where his student Karen Cunningham works.
As if being a grad student isn’t hard enough, she’s also a new mom! So. Karen knew this time would be incredible taxing, and sometimes there’s a solid 6-hour shift where she just can’t bring a baby in, because of how quick the breaks are.
Well, Professor Littleton wanted to make the work-life balance more fluid for Karen.
He surprised her with a crib to go in his office!
Now Karen can bring in her baby every shift, and keep an eye on her while she gets some work done. AND, of course, the baby gets a lot of extra love from professor and the other students.

Aaron Halifax lives in Nova Scotia, and hasn’t seen his mother since 2019 thanks to a four-hour drive and of course, the pandemic’s travel restrictions.
He recently learned his mother has a terminal liver disease. So of course, Aaron had to find a way to her.
Canada has so many travel restrictions to work around for him, BUT he has a Class-1 license, which allows him to drive a truck, and since truck drivers are considered essential workers, he thought maybe he could score a gig delivering a payload to his mother’s town!
Aaron placed an ad on a popular classified site, telling his whole story, thinking it was a long shot, and was BOMBARDED with offers!

Platt, 27, plays the titular character Evan Hansen, and although I've never seen the musical, I can tell that he's about to get in a good bit of trouble while finding himself along the way. Famed Galapagos Island Rock Formation Darwin's Arch Collapsed

The iconic rock formation in Galapagos Islands known as Darwin's Arch collapsed on Monday (May 17) morning. The massive 141 feet high, 230 feet long, and 75 feet wide sits about a half-mile off the coast of Darwin Island, which is only accessible by boat.
"Obviously, all the people from the Galapagos felt nostalgic because it's something we're familiar with since childhood, and to know that it has changed was a bit of a shock,"
ABC News. "However, from a scientific point of view, it's part of the natural process. The fall is surely due to exogenous processes such as weathering and erosion, which are things that normally happen on our planet."

Kia Issues Second Recall, Warns Owners To Park Outside Over Fire Risk

Kia is recalling over 440,000 vehicles for a second time over an issue that could cause engine fires. The recall includes Kia Optima sedans from 2013-2015 and 2014-15 Sorento SUVs.
The automaker said that a blake fluid can leak into a control computer, causing an electrical short. The short can spark an engine fire, even if the car is turned off. Kia advised owners to park their vehicles outdoors and away from structures and other vehicles until the issue has been resolved.
Kia has received reports of eight fires relating to the issue, including one from a dealer who said the car had been repaired during last year's recall. Six of the fires involved the Optima, and two involved the Sorento. There were no reports of injuries.
