GRETNA, Va. â At their last council meeting, Gretna Town Council agreed to support a name change from E. Watts Street to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive, thanks to a suggestion made by Kell Stone at their February meeting. While the council had no issue with making the change, they wanted to reach out to others in the community to see especially if the street might have been named for a family. Since that meeting, town officials have been working to make sure no one has objections to this by sending letters out to adjacent property owners, all of which did not reply. ....
