Bloody Disgusting reports that the budget is reportedly in the $30M-$40M range. For the record, Zombie’s previous films were (at best) half that budget. His two Halloween movies topped out at $15M a piece. Then there was House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil’s Rejects, both budgeted at $7M. Then The Lords of Salem and 31 at $1.5M And finally, Three From Hell cost – checks notes – go figure, $3M. So, again, this will be Zombie’s biggest movie. By at least double. About time. But I think this might mean – as we might have suspected – this could also be Zombie’s first PG-13 (or gasp PG) movie. That’s would be fucking weird. I guess we’ll see soon…
