School Crescent flooded on Sunday, along with neighbouring Moor View and Ternal Mead roads, after heavy rain. Ann Walker, 79, said her garden was flooded and she can smell sewage when her back door is open. She was so distressed about the flooding and frightened to leave her home in case the water spread, she had to cancel her weekly visit to see her husband Ron, who is in a care home. She said: I cannot tell you how sick I am with it. The drains are overflowing and it all floods into my garden. It is petrifying and I don t know what to do about it. ....
