LEWISTON – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Nancy Violette who passed away after a brief period of declining health at Central Maine Medical Center on July 4, 2021. Nancy had been a resident at Clover Healthcare in Auburn for the last year.
Nancy was born to Muriel and Lionel Violette on Sept. 6, 1950. Nancy had been a member of St. Patrick’s Parrish and was educated in Lewiston Maine. For a period of time, she was employed by Pathway’s Sheltered Workshop for adults with disabilities. Nancy had a gift for giving and receiving love. She was an exceptionally good hugger. To know her was to love her. ....

PORTLAND, Maine One year after COVID-19 made its way to the state, Maine hospitals have begun easing restrictions on visitors.
Beginning Wednesday, patients at Maine Medical Center who are not being treated for COVID-19 will be allowed one visitor each day between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. ....
