Man Stabs Greyhound Bus Passenger In NJ, Severs Own Finger With 6-Inch Knife, Prosecutor Says

A man wielding a knife on a Greyhound bus headed to New York City stabbed another passenger on Sunday, slicing open his own finger in the process, authorities charged.
Quientell Donaldson, 37, is accused of yelling and engaging in a dispute as the bus was traveling on Route 80 in Warren County around 1 a.m.,
Donaldson then stabbed the victim several times, severing his own finger in the attack, Pfeiffer said.
The driver pulled over near the exit in Hope Township and contacted police, who arrested Donaldson later that day.
Donaldson, of Syracuse, underwent surgery at Morristown Memorial and faces charges for attempted homicide, aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, authorities said. ....

An unruly man on a New York City-bound Greyhound bus stabbed a fellow passenger several times early Sunday morning, the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office said.
The incident began about 1 a.m. with the man screaming and arguing aboard a bus on Interstate 80 in Warren County, Prosecutor Jim Pfeiffer said later Sunday morning.
The driver called police and pulled off at the Hope Township exit, which is across the street from a New Jersey State Police station, Pfeiffer said.
Troopers arrested Quientell Donaldson, 37, of Syracuse, the State Police said Sunday evening. ....

'GoFundMe' fundraiser started for mom, daughter, struck by car in Chatham

CHATHAM â An online fundraiser started to aid a young mother and her daughter who were struck by a moving vehicle in town has raised more than $34,000.
The goal of the âGoFundMeâ page listed a goal of $30,000. By Monday night, it has raised $34,570, with dozens of donors.
The page was established by Bella Migliozzi.
âAlexandra Robinson and her 4-year-old daughter Annabelle are residents of Chatham Borough,â Migliozzi writes.
âOn the morning of Dec. 22, Alexandra was walking Annabelle to daycare and they were both hit by a car traveling west on Main Street. Prior to crossing the street in the crosswalk, Alex looked in both directions and pressed the traffic button to stop oncoming traffic to ensure that it was safe to cross. RINGWOOD A borough couple and their new best friend, Otter, are sharing their story of resurgence following a near-fatal skydiving accident to help a North Jersey animal shelter potentially win $25,000 from the Petco Foundation.
Ian Azeredo, 34, and his wife, Linda Farkas, 30, adopted Otter, a young Labrador retriever and hound mix, from St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center in Madison this spring. While there are plenty of shelters closer to home, they chose St. Hubert’s for one key reason.
“He spent two months in the ICU in Morristown, Farkas said. And they wouldn t let you eat in the ICU. So I went one day to shovel lunch in my face real quick and saw this couple putting up therapy dog posters. They were local to Morristown, and they actually recommended St. Hubert s. ....
