Man robbed at knifepoint on Rutgers’ College Avenue campus, cops say

A man was robbed at knifepoint just off College Avenue in New Brunswick late Wednesday, authorities said.
He was walking around 11:50 p.m. when four men forced him into the alley between two college office buildings on Bartlett Street, the Rutgers University Police Department said in a statement.
The robbers showed a knife, punched the victim several times and stole property before running away, police said.
The victim, who is affiliated with Rutgers, declined to be treated for minor injuries. The RUPD does not say if crime victims affiliated with the school are students, faculty or staff. ....

Authorities are searching for the people responsible for tossing eggs at a Rutgers University fraternity house during a Holocaust remembrance event in New Brunswick last week.
The vandals showed up at the Alpha Epsilon Pi house on Sicard Street during the annual 24-hour reading of the names of Holocaust victims on April 7 and 8, the university said.
Rutgers chancellor Chris Molly condemned the incident in a statement. ....
