Bill advances requiring Pa. school districts to open up classrooms to homeschoolers

Homeschool students could get more educational and co-curricular opportunities in public schools under a bill that is advancing in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
A bill, sponsored by Rep. Jesse Topper, R-Bedford County, would require school districts to allow a student who resides in their district and is enrolled in a home education program to take up to four academic courses in the district. It also would allow a home educated student to participate in activities such as band or orchestra that have an academic class attached to ....

Rutgers University was the nation’s first higher education institution to require a COVID-19 vaccination for students planning to enroll there in the fall with Cornell University following that lead on Friday. Time will tell how many more colleges follow suit.
