London’s Royal Court Theatre is facing claims of fatal asbestos poisoning from the families of former staff who have died of lung cancer.
Stage hands and actors were forced to work among the highly dangerous material during the theatre’s radical heyday of the 1970s with no protective equipment, loved-ones allege.
