This Batmobile, a replica of the one driven by Michael Keaton in Tim Burton’s Batman and Batman Returns, is also significantly cheaper than any supercar. In fact, it could cost you less than a new Hyundai. It’s being offered at Bonham’s MPH March Auction in London where it’s expected to fetch between £20,000-30,000 (about US$28-41k).
But that could be because instead of the jet turbine the movie’s producers would have us believe the original was packing, this Batmobile is powered by a 5.7-liter small block Chevy. Which seems an unusual choice given the chassis apparently comes from a first generation Ford Mustang. ....

The London Motor Museum has closed and is selling one of its prized possession on its display, a 1:1 replica of a Batmobile taken from the 1990 Batman flicks directed by Tim Burton and starred Michael Keaton. The popular design of the car used the body of a 1965 Ford Mustang and is using the same stock V8 engine paired with the American muscle.
