Santa Clarita Residents Invited To Virtual Town Hall Discussion Of LASD
Santa Clarita Valley residents are invited to attend a scheduled virtual town hall meeting next month to discuss the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) and topics related to the department.
A virtual town hall meeting regarding the LASD’s performance, held by the L.A. County Civilian Oversight Commission, is slated for Tuesday, June 8, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m and residents are invited to discuss hot button issues like policing during protests, response times and rising crime levels.
“Following speaker remarks, local leaders would like to hear about your experience with deputies & how you feel about public safety in your community,” officials with the L.A. County Civilian Oversight Commission stated. “Bring your observations, thoughts & suggestions. Join us at the upcoming town hall.” ....
