I avoid going to one of my favorite restaurants because it feels so far away. The Cajun Asian Restaurant is over by the port and in order to go eat there, I have to plan my entire day around it. It feels like I am making a trek into a land far far away. Everyone feels that way having to drive over by the port right?
According to KTBS 3 there is a brand new 10.5-mile stretch of highway that will give direct access from the Port to I-49, they are calling it the I-69 service road because the proposed project will basically run parallel to Interstate 69. If you think that this project, just like every other road project in Louisiana is something that will take several years to kick off, think again. ....

Caddo Parish Sheriff Steve Prator wants to make sure our roads are safe for law-abiding citizens and he s not playing around. That s why this Friday evening, Good Friday, April 2nd, 2021, Caddo Parish is holding a safety checkpoint. I think it s safe to say we all know that it s never okay to drink and drive. Adulting can really stink at times, but it s on us to make sure that before we start drinking we have a sober driver lined up or a rideshare app ready to go on our phones.
This Friday s safety checkpoint will be held in northern Caddo Parish from 10 pm to 2 am at an undisclosed location. Prator s office says the checkpoint is intended to make parish roads safer and reduce traffic deaths and injuries by identifying alcohol and drug-impaired drivers, seatbelt violators, and other traffic offenders. The policing is a part of the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign and law enforcement will show zero tolerance for drunk o ....

Rumors began late last week that shortages were a possibility as a result of the recent ice storm. And on Monday KEEL received a number of reports that some stations were out of regular and were selling only the more expensive 93 octane.
But Moncla dispels the rumors and explains that the seemingly limited supply was only for a day. I don t believe there s a shortage on gas Part of the problem in north Louisiana is the big freeze we had up there, Moncla says, acknowledging that some stations ran low for a short time. The problem.is temporary. You have stations that weren t ordering very much gas. You have refineries that were shut down, pipelines that were shut down due to the freeze.
