Gould: Too soon to measure impact of new Route 116 light

Route 146 ramps closed
LINCOLN – Police say it’s too early to tell whether the new traffic signal on Route 116/George Washington Highway has improved safety in the area.
Late last month, the Rhode Island Department of Transportation announced that the new signal at the Route 116 interchange would go live on Nov. 30, making the busy Route 116/Route 146 intersection safer for drivers.

Farm & Fisherman Tavern in Cherry Hill has had to pivot more than once since the pandemic hit. They closed for a while; revamped their menu; upped their takeout game; experimented with market items; embraced to-go wine, beer and cocktails, and eventually welcomed outdoor guests.
