The co-founder of online tech learning platform A Cloud Guru has responded to customer concerns around the startup’s acquisition, saying he welcomes the passion coming from the community of users.
Last week, the startup announced it has entered into an acquisition deal, reported to be worth $2 billion, with Utah-based workforce development company Pluralsight.
The announcement was hailed as a win for the maturing Australian tech scene, but customers had their concerns about diminishing competition in the tech training sector, disruption in the service, and whether they’re going to get the products they know and love. ....

A Cloud Guru - an online training start-up founded by two brothers in Melbourne - has been acquired by US company Pluralsight in one of the largest deals ever for an Australian tech company.
The company, founded by Sam and Ryan Kroonenburg in 2015, has been one of the most closely watched Australian start-ups in recent years, after growing at a tremendous rate, with a mainly US and overseas customer base for its online cloud computing training programs.
Brothers Ryan and Sam Kroonenburg have grown and sold a global online learning business from Australia.
Terms of the deal were not revealed by Pluralsight or A Cloud Guru, but ....
