Free Pot Love luncheon planned Saturday
Cross Roads Community Presbyterian Church free takeout monthly Pot Love Dinner will begin at noon Saturday at the church, 271 Main St., Leechburg.

Food donations sought by local Boy Scouts
Boy Scout Troop 186, Harrison, will leave hang tags on doorknobs in the Natrona Heights and Brackenridge this week and next as part of the annual Scouting for Food campaign of the Laurel Highlands Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
All food collected by the troop will be delivered to the Food Bank of Allegheny Valley Association of Churches in Natrona Heights for distribution to local needy families. Leechburg man turns yard — and neighbors' — into synchronized holiday light-and-music show


Leechburg is shining bright thanks to the generosity of a Main Street resident.
Clyde Lindsey is the creator of Leechburg Lights, the annual synchronized holiday light-and-music show now open for the 2020-21 season. It’s in its 13th year.
Lindsey is a nationally recognized professional lighting programmer.
What began as a hobby has evolved into a career. He owns Pixel Pro Displays, based in Leechburg.
Lindsey created the free show when his hobby as a light sequencer was in full force.
“It’s the one thing I like to do for the community,” said Lindsey, 46. “With the way things are with covid, this is what we need something to brighten ourselves up.” ....
