Leesville City Council met Monday, January 11, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. All members were present.
The Council voted to pay bills in the total amount of $103,731.21 for FY 2018 LCDBG Rehabilitation of Sewer Crossings and 15,070.12 for the Public Works Department – Waste Water Treatment Plant.
City Engineer Mark McCarty reported that the University Parkway project is wrapping up. It is near the end of the warranty period on the raised water tank project, they will be scheduling a one-year inspection. Centerpoint has almost finished their project replacing old gas lines.
Two resolutions were passed: one, authorizing the Mayor to sign and submit applications to the 2020-2021 Community Water Enrichment Fund and Louisiana Government Assistance Program. The second authorizes the City to make a $7500 offer for an empty lot (Parcel 0111333517) at 800 Shade Street, adjacent to the MLK Center. ....
