Central New York’s biggest school districts learned this week that planning normal high school commencements will be hard.
High schools with bigger senior classes are going to have a tough time finding a venue that will accommodate everyone under New York state’s new limits on how many people can gather.
A typical graduation event indoors with all the seniors, some staff and several guests looks to be a long shot for most school districts. Only small districts may be able to accommodate traditional ceremonies. ....
