PETERSBURG - Hurry! The final opportunity to view the popular Petersburg on My Mind art exhibit by Catherine Venable in Old Towne is this Saturday.
Venable and her two sisters Sharon Leahman and Carolyn Wenrich share their passion for art and storytelling through exquisite quilts and paintings on display at the Petersburg Area Art League [PAAL].
When I arrived, two of the three sisters wearing vibrant colors just like in their artwork were busy sharing stories with gallery visitors.
We had quite a lot more people than expected for a town this size, said quilter Sharon Leahman. It s been thrilling putting different colors together and making patterns work. ....

Centre Hill Mansion Museum transformed into a Holiday Designer House
