(WTVM) - As the state of Alabama moves into phase 1B for COVID-19 vaccine distribution, which is set to include teachers and educators, some school districts are welcoming students back to campus after the holiday break. This is the Chambers County School Districtâs second week with students inside classrooms. âWeâre all learning from this,â Superintendent Casey Chambley said. âThis is a new learning curve for everybody. (WTVM) - Schools in Chambers County are being closed for the rest of the week after dozens of employees have either tested positive for COVID-19 or been quarantined due to exposure. Chambers County School District officials say that Tuesday, 24 school employees and counting were being quarantined due to the virus.
