Mashaba, who is the former mayor of Johannesburg is in Durban today.
He says they will contest the municipal polls in eThekwini.
As you are aware our condition of participation in any municipality is on the basis of us bringing the ANC under 50% otherwise, we don t want to be an official opposition.  
Can we win outright here in eThekwini? I think it will be a big call because we don t have time on our side.   ....

Later, Ramaphosa will head to eThekwini s Ward six for a door-to-door campaign ahead of next month s by-election.
And then, it s back to Durban for a Provincial Executive Committee meeting.  ....
