Columbus, GA Judy Cynthia Messer, age 76, of Columbus, Georgia passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021.
Judy was born January 9, 1945 in Concord, North Carolina; the daughter of Arthur Eury and Minnie Ledbetter Eury. Judy was raised in the area, attending both Concord Public School and Cabarrus Public Schools; she graduated from M. R. O Dell High School. Judy married Richard Messer in Jonesboro, Georgia on June 11, 1986. Judy was a strong, independent woman, who looked for opportunities to serve others. Judy had a long career as an administrator with the Department of Defense. She was loving, kind, this wasn t limited to just people, and she would rescue many cats, dogs, and horses through the years. She believed in always trying to be the best version of yourself, to be true to yourself, and to always be yourself. She enjoyed spending time with her family and enjoyed hosting fun pool parties for the entire family. What Judy cherished the most was being a wife, mother, grandmothe ....

When I was at Universal Health Center one of my physical therapist gave me a daily devotion that was entitled “He is faithful Beyond Measure.” What the devotion writer was saying meant more to me because I could see this therapist a faith in God that believed every word of what she had given me to strengthen my faith in God’s faithfulness. It was evident that each time she worked with me I became stronger both physically and spiritually. ....

Materials. Concrete made sense; plasticity was required for the form to flow in between the boulders for the ponds and also for the form as well as creating a neutral consistent surface inside and out.  A type of slate from the region. The stone and the roughness of the application were intended to allow the building to read more like a landscape and to provide niches for the moss and lichen to inhabit over time strengthening that notion. Like a foil or frame for the lightroom and candle room set against the landscape.

Arlyce A. Hoard 1953-2021


Arlyce A. Hoard, age 67 of Cohasset Minnesota went “Home to Glory” with our Savior Jesus on March 11, 2021 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital with loved ones by her side.
Arlyce was born December 4, 1953 in Grand Rapids Mn to Shirley and William Huntington. She attended the following Minnesota Schools, K-1st grade at Central school, then due to her father beginning his teaching career the family moved to I-Falls, later to Deer River, and she graduated from Grand Rapids Highschool. Arlyce began furthering her education at ICC, HCC, and BSU where she had gained an A.A.S, Lab tech, and a BS degree in music and Elementary education. She had multiple musical talents. She was wild rice festival queen in her high school, singing for a variety of events. She was extremely musically inclined with both instrumental (clarinet, flute, guitar, piano and trumpet) and vocal talents.  ....
