Columbus, GA Judy Cynthia Messer, age 76, of Columbus, Georgia passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021.
Judy was born January 9, 1945 in Concord, North Carolina; the daughter of Arthur Eury and Minnie Ledbetter Eury. Judy was raised in the area, attending both Concord Public School and Cabarrus Public Schools; she graduated from M. R. O Dell High School. Judy married Richard Messer in Jonesboro, Georgia on June 11, 1986. Judy was a strong, independent woman, who looked for opportunities to serve others. Judy had a long career as an administrator with the Department of Defense. She was loving, kind, this wasn t limited to just people, and she would rescue many cats, dogs, and horses through the years. She believed in always trying to be the best version of yourself, to be true to yourself, and to always be yourself. She enjoyed spending time with her family and enjoyed hosting fun pool parties for the entire family. What Judy cherished the most was being a wife, mother, grandmother and
