Mar 08, 2021 A new mass-vaccination site is opening in the coming weeks in the Warren County town of Queensbury. Until now, the closest state-run sites for people in the Glens Falls/Queensbury area have been south in Albany or north in Plattsburgh.
The state has mass vaccination sites across New York, including one at SUNY Genesee Community College in Batavia (Darren McGee- Office of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo)
Queensbury s mass-vaccination site will be located at 50 Gurney Lane, just off exit 20 on the Northway near the Lake George Outlets.
Gov. Cuomo announced Monday that the state was scheduled to open 10 additional sites, including the one in Queensbury, in the coming weeks. In a release, Cuomo credited the increase in vaccine supply from the federal government as a factor in opening new mass vaccine locations. ....

Jan 12, 2021 More New Yorkers are now eligible to get vaccinated against COVID-19, including everyone 75 and older as well as more frontline workers like teachers and grocery store clerks, but there’s still confusion and frustration about the state’s vaccine rollout.
Governor Andrew Cuomo said beating COVID and vaccinating New Yorkers are his top two priorities this year. During his State of the State address on Monday, Cuomo said he wants to get to herd immunity.
“We must vaccinate 70-90% of our 20 million New Yorkers and we must do it quickly, safely, and fairly,” said Cuomo. ....
