It s Monday, Martin Luther King jnr Day, in the States as I write. The national holiday comes nearly 58 years after King s I Have a Dream
speech, where the civil rights activist spoke during the March on Washington for jobs and freedom. He called for civil and economic rights and an end to racism in the US:
I dream a world where all will know sweet freedom s way, Where greed no longer saps the soul nor avarice blights our day. A world I dream where black or white, whatever race you be, will share the bounties of the earth and every man is free … ....
