Revered sports columnist and alumnus Jerry Izenberg has written his first novel, addressing a theme animating his work for decades: racial injustice.
Alumnus Jerry Izenberg was born in Newark, New Jersey, where he had an illustrious career as a sports columnist for The Star-Ledger newspaper, leading to his induction into several halls of fame. His first novel is After the Fire: Love and Hate in the Ashes of 1967.
