Since the 2020 height of the Black Lives Matter movement, hundreds of multi-national corporations have verbally aligned themselves with Black lives â but is their money where their mouth is? Kiaâs challenge to all companies is for permanent philanthropic giving to Black communities to address centuries of structural racism.

Last summer several American corporations made public statements condemning George Floydâs murder, affirming that Black Lives Matter and pledging $50 billion in support of Black communities, according to a study from Creative Investment Research. However, since then, just $250 million has been committed or allocated, according to the firmsâ analysis. ....

The Center for Dynamic Learning has been helping at-risk youth build self-confidence, find purpose and passion with its hands-on, student-centered curriculum based in science, technology, engineering, arts, math and manufacturing.
It’s an alternative approach to traditional classroom learning that helps keep kids engaged, gives them experience and gets them prepared for jobs in high-demand industries.

BASKING RIDGE, N.J., Feb. 20, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) Following this week’s historic winter storms, the Verizon Foundation is making a $250,000 donation to Feeding Texas to support immediate relief efforts in communities across the state. The organization will use the funds to help relieve hunger, an issue which was further exacerbated by the storms.
