Naomi Shihab Nye has fond memories of growing up in Ferguson in the 1950s and ’60s. Born to a Palestinian father and American mother, the acclaimed poet, who now lives in San Antonio, will be featured in a virtual homecoming this Saturday hosted by Washington University’s Summer Writers Institute.
