Several years of alleged bullying toward a Forestview High School student came to a head in January when a student who identifies as transgender attacked another in class in an incident classmates videoed and shared on social media. The video, published to Facebook on Jan. 29, shows Ashley Rose, 15, punching a fellow student, Christian Scaff, 14, who was logging onto his computer ahead of English class. The video shows Scaff falling to the floor, as Rose continues punching and shoving Scaff’s head into the floor. Forestview administrators initially suspended Rose for 10 days for the attack, said Sheila Rose, the mother of Ashley Rose.
