Lucy Dan Li brought two pearls from a pearl necklace into Y+ED Jewellry Design to be refashioned into earrings. Li said the jeweller agreed to complete the job free because she had also brought in some diamond jewelry to be modified.

This message to all faculty and staff has been approved by Renisha Gibbs, Associate Vice President for Human Resources and Finance & Administration Chief of Staff.
As we prepare for the gradual repopulation of campus, we know there are many questions regarding summer and fall operations. As such, we want to provide an opportunity to discuss University expectations and address employee questions. We are also excited to unveil the new Paid Parental Leave benefit for staff and the Alternate Work Location Arrangement Pilot Program.
On Monday, May 3, Human Resources will host an open Zoom Question and Answer session with Provost Sally McRorie, Vice President for Finance & Administration Kyle Clark, and Dr. Daniel Van Durme, chair of the FSU Medical Advisory Committee. This meeting is a prime opportunity to hear updates on the University’s campus repopulation plan.

PLACERVILLE, Calif. â The father and stepmother of a Wisconsin boy are being charged in connection to his death.
Roman Lopez, 11, was found dead in the basement of his fatherâs home in January of 2020. Few details were released about what happened and his family in Wisconsin wanted answers.
âI donât know what happened to him,â Shelly Lopez, Romanâs mother said to TMJ4 News last year. âI donât know if he was in pain and I donât know if he was missing me or what was going on.â
