Luke Stolarzyk will stay in jail after being indicted for using AR-15 to fire at neighbor, nearby apartments.
A man accused of firing 29 bullets throughout a Hillsdale apartment complex during an altercation with a neighbor on June 29 has been arrested and charged with attempted murder, among 24 other charges.
Luke Stolarzyk, 32, now faces an attempted murder charge, in addition to charges for reckless endangerment, unlawful use of a weapon, criminal mischief and attempt to commit a felony, after he allegedly chased a neighbor around and fired off several rounds with an AR-15 rifle in and around the Stephens Creek Crossing apartments in Southwest Portland during the early morning hours of June 29. ....

Portland gunman overpowered by neighbour

“He knocked the guy out,” neighbour Misty Garrett told the
Portland Tribune.
“It took a long time for the police to show up here. During that time, another guy joined in trying to tie him up and beat him up.”
Miraculously, Stolarzyk, who managed to fire off 29 shots at cars and buildings, was the only person injured in the June 29 incident at Stephens Creek Crossing and was taken to hospital.
Apparently, the “visibly drunk” gunman had been angered by an argument with another neighbour over his barking dog around 1:15 a.m.

Luke Stolarzyk launched into a heated argument with his neighbor over a dog barking around 1:15 a.m. June 29, according to the Oregonian. Stolarzyk reportedly was belligerent toward Kenneth Nelson, a fellow resident of the Stephens Creek Crossing apartments. According to Portland Police, an active shooting suspect was reportedly taken down by a neighbor after firing off over two dozen rounds – that surprisingly hit no one.
The manner in which this active shooter was taken down, according to authorities, was that this neighbor knocked out the shooter and hogtied him.
On June 29th at approximately 1:00 AM, Portland Police say that 32-year-old Luke Stolarzyk fired off approximately 29 bullets an apartment building located in southwest Portland.
A man identified in court documents as John Dickerson, had initially been awoken by what sounded like a loud argument during the evening of the incident. When Dickerson went outside of his apartment, he reportedly saw the suspect with a handgun and a green laser. ....

No one was injured during the July 1 incident near the Stephens Creek Crossing apartments.
The Portland Police Bureau has arrested the man accused of firing 29 rounds at people near a Southwest Portland apartment complex last week.
Gunfire erupted around 1:30 a.m. on June 29 near the Stephens Creek Crossing apartments on Southwest 26th Way. Witnesses told police a man, later identified as 32-year-old Luke Stolarzyk, fired 29 shots from a rifle around the complex following an argument with a neighbor.
No one was wounded or even struck by the gunfire, according to police. ....
